1914 Patent 3 speed tilt Westinghouse Whirlwind Fan no guard Runs quiet Video. Great condition for age. 4 Metal brass tone plated blades. Blades are not brass. Tested and runs quietly. A bit hard to feel the difference on the medium setting but noticeable fan speed difference between high and low speeds. Fan head can tilt. It does looks like the power cord has been replaced at one time. Please see all photos and video. Again this fan Doe Not have the blade guard. Blades may be removed and packed separately in the same box to ensure they do not get damaged. The brass tag is marked as follows. Vintage General Electric pancake style fan with brass cage and four brass blades, 12 inch. I believe it to be five speeds (only runs on highest speed). The knob has five positions when turned. Will need repair to restore other speeds if indeed a five speed fan. Latest patent date on plate June 25,1901. Earliest patent date is March 19, 1889. Plate has been repaired. Will be packaged securely.
