These fans are Rare and Hard to Find today. They were used by bankers and designed to blow air up to keep papers from blowing off the desks. It is all original still with the original electric cord. The Brass Plaque reads at top Trade Mark Registered US Patents Office Savory Airator E4348 (sn) Made in USA by Savory Inc. Volts 110 AC Cycles 60 Pats Mar. 15 1926 New York Buffalo Chicago. It weighs approximately 15-18#s and is about 19-20 tall. Cosmetically this fan is in what I would consider good condition for it’s age. The black paint is in good shape on both the base and the 2 Piece Globe Cage. The cage surrounds the 4 blades which were made of a composite material developed by Westinghouse. The electrical cord is original and not in good condition. It will need to be replaced. There are a couple chipped holes in the metal base on the front and several on the back. Common with this type of metal. The 2 piece metal cage is in great condition. It has a sliding locking mechanism that keeps it locked in place. The handle is still attached. (I would not carry it with this though). There is 1 blade that has been repaired (glued). The motor runs but I only had it on for a few seconds because the Blades are off center and need to be rebalanced in the base before running. If you want to use this fan make sure you get the blades centered securely before operating. Please be aware their prices have recently increased. I pack my boxes well to avoid breakage. This is a nice vintage antique Emerson Electric cast iron neon green painted fan with metal blades. In good working condition as seen in the pics with some minor wear from age including a ding to the Emerson electric logo and it comes exactly as shown. It has 3 speeds and oscillates, the oscillating is a little slow and doesn’t move a lot but it does work. It measures approximately 18″ x 11 1/2″ x 22″ and the base is 8″ in diameter. Restored GE 12 inch brass 6 blade fan painted with automotive paint and clear coated over painted stripes. The paint colors are black and dark cherry with gold pinstripes. New head wire and outlet cord with Vintage Hubbol plug with brass custom cover. Winding (stator) and rotor (armature) where cleaned and clear insulating varnish was applied. New fiber spacers on rotor and end play lash was adjusted. Fan was completely taken apart and cleaned sandblasted any rust and primed with etch primer after any imperfections where fixed. New oil wicks installed and runs great with 3 speeds. Very smooth running and balanced blade. Runs smooth with no vibrations and the oscillator turns smooth and no slope in the movement. New rubber feet and wire grommets where installed. The bottom plate was has original insulating fiber piece still in great shape. New front bearing was installed and hi temp red grease was used in oscillating gearbox. And synthetic 10 w 30 motor oil was used in the oil cup. Weighs 20 pounds and is 16 inch’s high by 13 inch’s wide by 9 inch’s in depth. 78777 Type AO Form S3 110 volt 60 cycles. Local pick-up is welcome and Thanks for looking. Completely restored GE loop handle fan, this was original 4 blade fan but the blade was bent out of clock. The 6 blade and stator where from a 6 blade parts fan with no tag, new head wire was put on stator and the RPM of motor on high is 1200 2nd speed is 900 3rd speed is 600. Runs great and oscillates great with. Rear oscillator box out put shaft for shaft was reamed out and a bushing installed so there is no wobble in oscillator. New fiber washers and cotton cloth cord with vintage plug. 75423 type AO Form R5 110 volt and 60 cy. This fan was produced in 1916. All pinstripe is painted and automotive poly urethane enamel paint was used and everything was clear coated. Brass blade is clear-coated in Lacquer The brass 6 blade has no kinks or bends and is balanced, and is a 5/16 shaft. Speed switch lever knob was repaired. Blade will be removed and boxed separate from motor. And very well padded and double boxed.
