Here is one vintage Robbins & Meyers electric table/desk fan from the 1920’s. It features 16 brass blades and a 3-speed oscillator. The fan works on all speed settings, oscillates back and forth smoothly, and creates a very strong breeze. The fan’s finish is pretty rough, with paint flaking and rust present especially around the base, which is also missing it’s felt pad. In spite of these cosmetic issues, this fan should make an excellent candidate for a total restoration. Measurements are 20″H x 17″W x 11D, and weight is about 23 lbs.

The fan does run really strong and moves a lot of air and could be used as is with some minor modifications… Still, with the busted oscillator this fan is great for restoration, parts or simply a discussion piece, please reference pictures. Additional condition notes – The blades are in pretty good shape overall, though there are some dings to the edges. Also, the red paint has some flakes/missing areas. This fan has some weight to it! Unrestored and untouched ANTIQUE, ROBBINS & MEYERS Brass Bladed Electric Fan w/ its original cord and plug which are in deteriorating condition. The silk on the power cord is flaking off and the plug is in rough condition as well. The good news is that although the cord & plug look horrible the fan runs just as it should when plugged in, no sparks or smoke :- The 3 power settings change the Fans speed when you use them. So the cord and plug are not pretty but they supply power & Fan functions and recognizes each increment of change from the 1-2 and 3 power settings. This is not to say that you should keep the power cord and plug, I’m just saying that the power cord and plug are ORIGINAL and still work and the Fan and it’s settings switch still work as well :- The settings switch is in wonderful condition. You should, of course, replace the power cord and plug! The Fan has not been restored or fooled with. All I did for the photos was to wipe it off with a damp paper towel. All finish and pin-stripping are original. It has nicks to its original paint here and there but not many. EVEN the Fans bases outer-ring is still intact as seen in the photos (this is usually lost). For the collector, you are purchasing an untouched and all original early Robbins & Meyer Fan. I will PACKAGE THIS PROFESSIONALLY. By this I mean VERY WELL.
