Antique General Electric 12 Desk Fan Base Motor Housing PPG Auto Paint Part. This is all we have of this fan. It was a project that was painted about 28 years ago and has been wrapped in a box in storage all these years. When this was painted in the mid 1990s, all the parts were stripped, cleaned, bead blasted, cleaned and prepped for PPG DAU Black Epoxy Primer. The top coat paint is PPG Single Stage Urethane in the old DAU system. This also includes the factory GE hardware that you see in the images. Factory base, yoke, motor housing, back end bell, neck bolt, 2 wingnuts and 2 brass yoke bolts. The finish is very high quality and an excellent quality paint, its not 100% perfect, but its very nice. Please see all images for a pictorial description and ask any questions.

Antique GE Electric Fan Brass Blades Base Housing Pat 1895 1901 1903.. We have never seen a fan like this. We think it’s an excellent candidate for full restoration. That’s brass and it’s a real fine base. I’ve not seen a base such clean line. It’s usually kind of thicker This came from a local estate. I do not know the full history but it does work. (I don’t know which way the controls go) This was partially disassembled when we found it so I’ve taken pictures both ways. The blades are aprox 8 It goes through one through three speeds. But it has a problem. There’s a little wheel that connects to it and to an arm to make it go back and forth. You can see in the picture I removed the wheel but it is broken. I believe these are somewhat available. Please do your own due diligence on that. It does have scratches, scuffs, some dings, dents but overall. It’s a beautiful fan. I’m sure a good polishing and cleaning would really brighten it up We’ll leave that up to the new owner. Some people like the plethora the cord does not look bad but it does appear to be original so you might want to change it but I’m not sure. I do not see where a front cover basket would be connected so maybe this one didn’t have one I don’t know. This is all the information we have. We’re very communicative. Antique Emerson motor head assembly 21646. 15.2, 105.3, 120.2 Ohms. Looks like the original black Japanned finish will clean up nicely. Definitely needs cleaning both inside and out.

Polar Cub perhaps 100 years old! Somebody restored it new cord paint and painted the blade. The sliding switch works great too. It powers up fast and runs strong. It does make some noise. The badge on it is the best there is! All detail is present. Enjoy life’s little pleasures. Thank you for taking a peek.
