Antique Brass Bladed Desk Hotel Fan Coin Operated GE General Electric 1920 WORKS. Circa 1920 GE “‘Hotel” Coin Operated Fan. Very quiet and smooth with great air flow. The Original Bank Door (Like Most) Is Missing. It appears that the cord has been replaced but possibly has the original plug, see pictures. I don’t know a lot about it’s history as I only recently acquired it, but feel free to ask questions and I’ll do my best to answer them. The fan works by plugging in and turning on. I’m not positive about the function of the nickel slot since it comes on without using a nickel. It looks to have all the parts it needs to function. Original Antique Vintage Cast Iron Hunter Ceiling Fan with Original Blades and Canopy. Model H 36 Volts 110-120 Cycles 60 AMPS. In as found used condition with aged patina on original paint, scratches, grime and soil. The brackets are cast iron and the blades are aluminum. It comes with the globe. We ran the fan and the blades spin smoothly though it sounds like it needs oil. This fan is unrestored and in need of attention as the wiring is original and as we found it.
