Gorgeous piece of history as far as heating goes. This works when plugged in. I assume the base is cast iron given how heavy it is. Has a tilt key that works.

This offering is for an old vintage Master-Bilt Heat Circulator Electric Fan. The fan body is made of brown bakelite with a beautifully paneled base and waffle design to the front and back of the motor housing. The base plate is cast iron and is marked THE MASTER ELECTRIC CO DAYTON OHIO USA 115 V 50-60 CY. PAT 83636 OTHER PEND. The tag on the front of the cage is marked “MASTER-BILT HEAT CIRCULATOR”. Both the fan and the heating element work perfectly. The bakelite housing is excellent with no chips, cracks or breaks and no repairs. The heating element is also in perfect condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs. The cords appear to be original and in very nice usable condition. The blades and cage have a brass finish but are in fact magnetic metal, their condition is bold and bright with only minimal wear.
