Diehl D10 AJ17 Oscillating Desk Fan 4 Blade Tilt Head MCM Retro Vintage Working. See video for demo. This fan shows some cosmetic wear from age and use. There is paint peeling on the bullet, cage, and base. The blades themselves look to be in good condition. On the lower-right section of the cage (when facing the fan) there is a slight bend-please see photo #4 for a close-up. The plug has some black electrical tape around it; I’m not sure if this was from a past repair or another reason. The power cord shows some cracking, but I did not notice any exposed wires. The rubber-like strain relief where the cord enters the bullet has mostly worn away and crumbled off. Great for display or restoration. Early cast iron 2 star head assy. Tag and rivets come with sale, i. Motor is excellent and quiet running, oscillation is tight with no slop, motor bearings and motor shaft as tight as new. Built with the best parts from several fans. If taken apart for painting, would strongly recommend re-assembling exactly as it is. A lot of time was put into this build.

VINTAGE ROBBINS & MYERS FAN, TILT HEAD, ADJUSTABLE FEATURE, WITH BRASS BLADE & OPEN BRASS CAGE. This fan is pretty powerful, it can really move air, and is one of the “best must have fans”, it runs very smoothly. A far cry from the fans we have today. The paint looks pretty good, has scratches here and there, taking into considering its age. Believe it or not, the paint still shines, and it has gold pinstripes, which I have circled in white, however faded in places. It has an 11 foot heavy duty cord, which may need to be replaced at some point. Regarding the cage on the s-pattern, there are 3 places that need to be soldered. Please view the pictures as I have circled in red, the area on the S cage that needs to be soldered. The last one is on the outer rim. The cage is all Brass, with an open center.
