Designed In 1933 By Thomas Borth Jones And Executed By The Century Electric Company. This Case And Its Design Were Intended To Make The Consumer Feel As Tho Their Fan Was An Extension Of The Piece Of Furniture On Which It Sat. During This Same Time Period, GE Also Brought A Furniture Styled Fan To The Market And Sure This Was Century’s S Answer. This Example Is Much Rarer Than A GE, Therefor Most Collectors Have Never seen one. The Metal Case Is Painted A Rich Brown With Shading To Replicate Wood. The Base Features An Off and On Slide Switch. This version is non oscillating the main motor is held on stationary by four brackets permanently attached to the case. It’s difficult to find much info on these at all. The fan works great, mesh front cage and housing has a few dents dings and scratches but holds it’s integrity. Two Small holes looks like it was drilled in the top for some reason. Fan has 2 speeds high and low and off although not much difference between the two speeds as I can tell. I’ve searched for months and not found another example anywhere. Please see all photos for condition. Thanks I will tray to answer any questions as thoroughly as I can.

Extremely Rare ECK Hurricane Oscillating Fan. Marked Pat 1915 on the blades. Blades also marked MING. Cast iron and appears complete. Blades and motor spin freely. Unable to test because cord is not viable. It will need to be rewired. 23 inches tall, 16 inches wide and weighs a little over 30 lbs. These fans rarely come up for sale in this condition. A great find for the collector!

Antique 1889 Diehl Mfg Co ceiling fan. This is the very first electric direct drive ceiling fan model, patented by its inventor Philip Diehl in 1889. Made of cast iron, bronze and brass. Extremely rare, ornate and heavy, weights around 100lbs. Runs on 55V DC as these were manufactured before the AC era. Still works well and blows smooth and strong off my 48V DC. Good original condition considering its age. The cast iron body parts show few cracks and some repair, a small piece is missing off the bottom cast iron plate. Blades are included and appear to be original. Everything is shown in the pictures but inquire for more images and a video of it working. Only few of these are left. Great addition to any serious collection.
