Vintage General Electric (GE) “Whiz” 9-Inch Desk Fan Catalog No. Untested / For Restoration. The original brass blades spin by hand, though there is slight tension/resistance from the motor when turned. The original power cord is in poor condition and completely degraded. For safety reasons, it must be replaced before attempting to plug in or test the fan. The fan is dirty from storage and will need a thorough, deep cleaning, but the metal structure is in good overall structural condition. Please review all photos carefully to assess the cosmetic condition. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions before purchasing! Antique fan from GE in very nice vintage condition. Normal wear and staining, some minor denting in the cage, and looks like one sleeve is missing where the cage wire would’ve joined together on the back of the cage. Nice early patent date of 1906. Fan is a good runner just some very light vibration. The cord should be replaced, it was able to be plugged in for testing carefully, but the cloth is frayed and likely the rubber beneath could be compromised also. Stands around 15 1/2 tall. The cage is 13 1/4 in diameter and the base is roughly 7 in diameter. Weighs about 16 pounds. The fan blades are steel.

Vintage Emerson Electric 3-speed metal desk/table fan with a 12-inch four-blade design and approximately 14-inch outer cage. Features an ivory/cream finish, metal construction, and original Emerson Electric center badge. Exact model is unknown and no model/data plate is present. Shows significant cosmetic wear consistent with age and use, including paint chips, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, surface oxidation/rust, and wear to the cage, base, blades, and cord. The 3-speed control is located on the base. Fan is fully functional on all 3 speeds. The fan does not currently oscillate (turn side to side). I do not see any switch, button, or control indicating that this fan was designed with an oscillation feature. Please review all photos closely for overall condition and details.

Antique Graybar Quality electric desk fan with brass-toned blades, black metal base, wire cage, original badge, and cloth-covered cord. A strong early 20th century industrial decorative piece with good patina and display presence. Visible age, oxidation, paint wear, dust, and surface rust. Overall Fair – Good condition for this Working, Vintage Emerson Type 73646 – 12 Oscillating 4-blade Desk Fan. It starts easily, changes speeds with settings, although it doesn’t seem much different. Quiet, powerful motor runs well with no apparent electrical issues, but best to inspect thoroughly, given age. I could not get oscillation to work, even though the knurled knob was turning. It may work fine, just may be operator error. Cast iron body appears to have been painted over, at some point. Some scratches and rub marks present. Cage appears to have a bend to it and some of the metal wire is separated, but holds shape fine. Please see all pictures as they are the best description. Great candidate for a refurbishment, or it looks great sitting on the table right now! No return on this fan. Please visit our store for more unique, antique and vintage stuff! We always take great care in packing your items properly, and insuring them, so they arrive safely and with piece of mind. Nice old fan from Cincinnati, Ohio in good vintage condition. Nice large size, the blades are 16 inches across. Normal wear and and some denting in the rear of the motor, mainly on the base. Would recommend the cord be replaced as there is a lot of cracking in the rubber but it does plug-in and is a good runner. Would recommend a rewire if it were to be used frequently but again we did test it. Stands around 21 tall. The cage is 19 1/4 in diameter and the base is roughly 9 in diameter.
