This listing is for a pair of original fan boxes by Emerson. They have no lids but I put on 2 pieces that fit. I was thinking of putting a fan in the box and getting a glass top? Tops are NOT nailed down and boxes are in fan-tastic condition. They both have branding on 3 sides. One has some original INK writing on the box but the others branding is untouched. The boxes are approximately 22″ tall x 20″ wide x 15 deep. Don’t quote me on that though. I cant measure due to a snow storm. I know at least 2 people will still do it though. Loyd Davis was an avid antique fan collector until his passing in 2011. For the FIRST TIME since Loyd’s passing, a large portion of his 30-year fan collection is being auctioned off by me, his son, Randy Davis. 15 fans left to go, and they will be auctioned. It is on occasion that you come across a fan with its original crate or box but usually a little more common fan. This is a very desirable Western Electric “Hawthorn” double lever oscillator that is in wonderful condition. We have serviced this fan, all new grease and fresh oil. The paint has been cleaned and waxed to reveal its original beauty. We have installed new head wire OTR-W and power cord OTR-W for safe operation.
