Antique Diehl 16 Chrome 6 Blade Electric Fan – has issues, see below. Runs strong, on High and Medium speeds. Low speed does not work. Oscillation does not work – stripped gear. One of the intermediate gears has been removed to prevent the gearbox from getting jammed up. The gear will be included. New grounded cord installed for better electrical safety. New green felt bottom installed to protect your table. Chrome finish has pitting and rust. Fan cage is slightly bent – please see photos. Dirt and dust is present. Blade diameter – 16 inch. Height – 21 inches. Width – 17 1/2 inches. Weight – 23 lbs without packaging.

These models were commonly used in workshops, factories, and garages – built to run for decades. This fan still works and currently operates using a brand-new modern power cord with an in-line ON/OFF switch. The original variable-speed inline switch was no longer functional, but I’m including the original cord and switch assembly (spliced) for anyone who wants to attempt a period-correct restoration. Fan powers on and runs smoothly (single speed only now). Includes new cord already installed. Includes the original vintage cord with multi-speed switch (non-functional, for parts/restoration). No original stand – the fan has a mounting point suitable for hanging. Original Emerson Electric badge intact on both front and rear. Vintage Mimms Northington Circular Floor Fan 3 Speed Brown Retro MCM. Very cool hassock fan working great in all speeds just need some easy painting touches, wood glue repairs and a new power cord. The legs have like screws on the bottom. Measuring 24″ diameter on top by 17″ ht. It’s about 37 pounds heavy.

Very heavy antique GE electric fan. Fan works, but it needs a new cord definitely, which is an easy fix. The fan blade material is brass. Some parts are cracked or damaged, but it still might be good to restore or to use parts for another one. Including remnants of old wasp nests inside since it was kept in a shed for years.
