Beautiful 12 Interior Conduit AEG Pancake Motor Fan. This fan is a staple for the fan designs of the late 1800’s. The exposed V style brushes on the back of the over engineered cast iron motor are simple gorgeous. Fan appears to be in 100% original condition. The fan runs great with some brush arching. Measuring from the base to the top of the motor is 11 1/4 high. The Pancake style motor is 6 1/2 in diameter. The brass blades are 12 in diameter. It had been in storage for many, many decades. Blades spin freely with no noises. Blades are pretty much straight but may need a little bit of tweaking. Cage is a little bent. Motor and base have no cracks and have a lot of the original paint, but also has rust. Speed control lever works. The brass tag on the side of the base that reads. INTERIOR CONDUIT & INSULATION CO. 7200 ALTERNATION 104 VOLTS PATENTS PENDING. On ceramic base is: CONNECT HEAR. The cord is cracked and decayed and unusable. Untested as I would have to rewrite the power cord and I have no source of 104 Volt power. This will be professionally packaged and insured.
