Antique circa 1930s General Electric 10 Bullet nose art deco fan in good working condition! The fan does run really strong and moves a lot of air for it’s size. Single speed fan and no oscillation, there is an option to adjust the tilt of the fan. Additional condition notes – Overall wear is commensurate with age. Some minor loss to paint. The blades are in pretty good shape overall, they are painted black. The fan has been at least partially rewired in the past. Finally there is a screw missing on the back of the fan directly above the GE logo. For it’s size, this fan has some weight to it and looks great too! Original Circa 1906 16 Diehl universal ornate base desk fan. This very rare and desirable model features a beautiful ornate cast iron base with three tab feet. This example retains its original finish, with the gold leaf paint still visible on the embossed speed indicators, as shown in the photos. There are areas of paint loss but great condition considering its age. Motor is equipped with 2 new bearings and runs perfectly. The original switch lever was missing so we installed a custom fabricated one from our porcelain diehl switch offering. New period correct cloth cord has been installed from base to motor and base to outlet. This is a very larger and impressive fan that can really move air or provide a nice gentle breeze if desired. The fan is designed to operate on 110V DC, but it is equipped with a bridge rectifier, allowing it to run on standard residential AC power.
