Probably the earliest blower electric fan ever made, or at least the oldest blower electric that all experts i contacted have seen. According to conversations I had with experts and collectors, this fan was manufactured by Buffalo Forge Co. In conjunction with General Electric Co. During last years of 19th century or, most probably, during the first years of 20th century. This fan has a General Electric motor with unique variations specifically made for this squirrel cage model. For the other hand, the incorporation of a technological innovation never seen before (electric blower fan with squirrel cage), the absence of brand and serial number, and the presence of a unmarked metal label indicate that this is a prototype produced jointly by Buffalo Forge Co. And General Electric Co. And was never mass-produced (most probably not more than 5 pieces have been made to be showed in USA and European market). This experimental fan has been made. Particularly for industrial or engineering use, like elecric labs, ventilation in mines, factories, and furnaces. This fan is in perfect working order and has only one speed. As you can see in the pictures, it has been not restored in any way to preserve its antique original condition. Diameter of blades is 41 centimeters. Overall height is 40 centimeters.
