Rare Antique 1930s Original General Electric 12 Brass Blade/Cage Fan Working

The entire oscillator transmission is missing from this fan, apparently broken when the fan was dropped or had fallen, the damage is clearly shown in the photos. It works without glitches. Attractive green color as when made for the first time. Great attention to detail is evident in the craftsmanship of the piece and it is simply beautiful. This I’d rather rare piece and not many are found through any venue. It would make a wonderful addition to a collection. Emerson Model 19644 Brass Blade & Cage Antique Fan. Emerson Type 19644 8 Antique Fan, Brass Cage and Blade, 1914-15 model. This is a non-oscillating (stationary) desk fan with the motor mounted on a tilting trunnion. 8 inch brass blade signed “The Parker” and “Pat’d Sept 12, 1899″. These are wonderful small three speed fans. Condition: Brass blade and cage in nice condition, without damage Iron frame and base has old repaint(black) but no signs of cracks, etc. Three speed porcelain switch on bottom, porcelain is not cracked. Cover for base not in good condition, painted black and the two screws that hold porcelain switch are bad replacements. Looks like cord was replaced some years ago. Fan is operating in medium and high speed, low is not working. This is a neat little fan and should be a nice piece to restore for the collector.
