RARE BANKERS TABLE FAN EARLY 20TH CENTURY INDUSTRIAL KISCO “COOLCIRCLEATOR” VINTAGE. Early 20th century vintage industrial “coolcircleator” electric bankers table fan. Used by bankers in the 1920’s and 1930’s, the uniquely shaped fan gently circulates air sideways as to not disturb paperwork and/or currency. These fans are Rare and Hard to Find today. They were used by bankers and designed to blow air up to keep papers from blowing off the desks. It is all original still with the original electric cord. The Brass Plaque reads at top Trade Mark Registered US Patents Office Savory Airator E4348 (sn) Made in USA by Savory Inc. Volts 110 AC Cycles 60 Pats Mar. 15 1926 New York Buffalo Chicago. It weighs approximately 15-18#s and is about 19-20 tall. Cosmetically this fan is in what I would consider good condition for it’s age. The black paint is in good shape on both the base and the 2 Piece Globe Cage. The cage surrounds the 4 blades which were made of a composite material developed by Westinghouse. The electrical cord is original and not in good condition. It will need to be replaced. There are a couple chipped holes in the metal base on the front and several on the back. Common with this type of metal. The 2 piece metal cage is in great condition. It has a sliding locking mechanism that keeps it locked in place. The handle is still attached. (I would not carry it with this though). There is 1 blade that has been repaired (glued). The motor runs but I only had it on for a few seconds because the Blades are off center and need to be rebalanced in the base before running. If you want to use this fan make sure you get the blades centered securely before operating. Please be aware their prices have recently increased. I pack my boxes well to avoid breakage. Rare and wonderful unmarked Savory brand “Airator” bankers desk fan. These were designed to blow air upward to keep papers from blowing off a desk. This one appears to be in all original condition. It did not work when plugged in. The bottom is loose because one of the 3 screws or posts is missing, that holds the bottom on. This has caused the slider switch to come free from the on positions and it is stuck. Measures about 19″ tall x 9″ diameter globe cage. Super rare just found banker lamp fan bankers or library fan. Signed w a brass tag the reads General Electric direct current fan (after that I do believe it says Model) patented nov 17 , 1903 No 671874 volts 110 cycles. The fan moves fine w a push of the finger. The top threads for a lamp shade is bent as shown but rest seems pretty good w looks to be maybe original paint. I did not plug in as it needs to be rewired etc. Please ask questions or if u need additional pics. Measures Appox 19.5 high by 8.5 wide.
