Antique GE Brass Blade 3-Speed Fan AUU 272223 Vintage 4-Blade in Working Cond. Warning – the cord needs to be replaced, the fan is not grounded properly and gave us slight shock during testing. Do not use this fan until the cord has been replaced. We did test the fan, however, and found it to be fully functional and quiet even. The fan stands about 17″ tall and the face is 13″ across. Please see photos of the makers plate for model, make, etc. Our items are from estate clean outs in the Denver area. We are not the original owners of them and are not always privy to their history. Our organization works hard to give back to the community, specifically to the homeless population in the Denver area.

This vintage General Electric fan is a beautiful addition to any collection. The brass blade fan features an antique finish and a circular bird cage vent style. The fan is electric and has three speeds. It has an adjustable tilt/head feature. The fan is made of brass and has a cast iron base. It measures 13 inches in diameter and 16 1/2 inches in height. All original and has not been restored. This was used in a Barbershop in Dallas Texas (Preston & NW Highway) back in 60’s for warming a client’s neck for a massage. Vintage Mathes Cooler Box Fan. Finish on the side is peeling a bit, possible zig zag crack in wood down the side (see pictures). Fan works but has not been used other than a test in years and I see some fraying of the wire (see pictures) so would recommend re-wiring before use.
