For sale is this Beautiful Westinghouse Electric & MFG. Oscillating Fan with 4 Brass Blades, Style 164848G, Serial 1551815. FAN works and operates perfect on all 3 speeds and is in excellent cosmetic condition. All original except for the replacement cord. Will be a great addition to any collection for sure. This Westinghouse Electric Co. Fan model # 164848G has four brass blades and most likely it’s original paint. The cage is 12 inches across and the fan is 16 inches high. The cord does need replacing for safety reasons but I plugged it in to make sure it was running and found it ran very well on all three speeds and oscillated smoothly. The blades have some tarnishing and the Westinghouse emblem on the front has a few small dents and a bit of the finish missing as shown in photos. Look at the pics and feel free to ask Questions on the Westinghouse brass blade fan. Model 164848G with 3 speeds and the oscillating feature. I have done nothing to it other than plugged it in and it runs. It oscillates, the 3 speeds work, it has the original cord, It is dirty, dusty & oily, It is missing a finger guard wire(believe replacements are readily available), It chatters where the shaft comes out of the motor front. Is it a piece of felt & lube to fix this or??? That’s up to the experts and the new owner.
