This antique General Electric (GE) Type AOU oscillating desk fan retains its original factory green paint finish and four original brass blades. The brass identification plate specifies Type AOU, Form AK1, and Spec. The cast iron body and brass components show surface wear and a natural aged patina.

This Antique brass blade fan just came out of an old Cape Cod barn. This is a large size fan with a cage measuring about 17 in diameter!! Fan is in working condition and has three speeds /oscillates. It shows wear and would benefit from a cleaning and servicing given that is was unused for many years. A great antique fan!!

Works great at all three speeds! Adorable little fan to add a little retro vibe to your decor. We did clean it but didn’t scrub too hard for fear of losing some of the fantastic paint color.

TESTED/WORKS See video/photos for more info. The Antique 30’s Emerson Jr. 2650-C Oscillating Electric Fan is a vintage piece of small appliance history. Manufactured by Emerson in the United States during the 1930s, this table/desk fan features an oscillation feature for evenly distributed airflow. Its antique finish adds to its charm as a collectible item for those interested in kitchen and home decor from that era. The Emerson Junior 2650-C is not only functional but also a nostalgic piece that reflects the craftsmanship of bygone times. This incarnation of the Emerson Junior was a styling update to the fans of the Seabreeze line from the 30s. It used the cloverleaf base and the stamped steel two bearing motor. It added new rounded almost overlapping blades, a bullet back, and a deco styled V cage. These fans came in 10″ and 12″ sizes. They were the first Juniors to have type numbers, 2660 and 2650. They also were the first Juniors to come in an assortment of metalic colors including bronze, and green.
