Nice vintage tapledop/desk fan. It is a one speed oscillating fan and it works fine. GE Model CY60, was built to last and it still operates marvelously. It is in “originally found” condition, a little dusty, could use a little clean up.

Can be wall mounted but be sure to hit a stud. The grease in the oscillation gears has been replaced. The white spray in the last image is some lithium grease that didn’t get wiped off before the picture. You can see a great example of this fan professionally refinished here: Circa 1938 GE 12 Oscillating Fan Restored 49X929 – Antique Fan Supply Co. The fans weren’t originally silver but add a good contrast. The cable is pretty brittle, if you would like I can replace it with an equal or longer length black cable at no additional charge.
