This 1930s two speed Victor fan has been sitting in my garage since the 1980s. I finally decided to restore it. Here is the list of what has been done. Rust removed and sanded. Old lubricants removed and replaced. Head wire, AC cord and rubber grommets replaced. Rotor and stator cleaned and resurfaced. Switch contacts cleaned and polished. Blades stripped, polished and buffed. New bottom plate with felt installed. Original hardware cleaned and polished. Replica vinyl badges created and installed. The fan has been used for 8+ hours since being restored and has worked flawlessly.
