Fresh from an estate is a General Electric fan manufactured in the 1940s and marketed under the Vortalex name. The fan blade, cage, motor housing, and base are made of steel. The fan is all original and in beautiful condition, and shows very little signs of use. The tan paint is generally bright and shiny (with some age appropriate scratches and wear), the cord is original and in good condition, and the original brown felt on the bottom of the fan is still present and in good condition. The fan is a three speed model (high – medium – low) and may be operated stationary or oscillating. Best of all, the fan runs beautifully — and oscillates smoothly — on three distinct speeds. The blades measure 16 in diameter — this fans puts out a lot of air! The width is 18.5″, height is 20.25″ and depth is 11.5. The build quality of the fan is impressive — heavy! The fan represents a bygone era of American craftsmanship. If you are looking for a stylish vintage fan in outstanding original condition that is ready to show and use immediately, look no further! This antique fan is a beautifully restored Western Electric fan model made of brass, featuring a lollipop design. It is a 12-inch table/desk fan powered by electricity, manufactured in the United States. The fan is in excellent working condition and is a sought-after collectible item for fans of vintage electric appliances. Very nice restored western electric Victor 12 inch lollipop fan. Looks and runs like new. I restored this fan over 10 years ago for a customer who has asked me to sell it for them. Beautiful Working Vintage Electric Oscillating Fan Emerson Brass 1950s St Louis. Blows hard, takes a second or two to get started but it cools off great. Could probably use some deep cleaning, lubricating. Mountable on table or wall, three screw holes, screws not included. On off switch on base. Tilts, appears to have one speed – high. Base and housing are dark brown and have pits, scratches. Cloth wire cord is new as is plug. See photos for details and condition.

Beautiful Cast Iron Antique Vintage 1920’s Hotpoint Heater WORKS. This thing is 100 years old and still works! It has a beautiful burgundy brown color and copper dish. It even has a hole through the base if you wanted to hang it on the wall to heat from above. Would make a nice decorator piece. Only thing it might need is a new plug but still works as is. Here’s a beautiful restored GE cat# 34017 brass blade 3 speed table fan. Brass blades measure a total span of 12 across tip to tip. Fan stands about 16 tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the cage ring. Head can be tipped up or down to aim the airflow. Base speed plate tag was removed and refinished to look like factory new. All brass polished to a high luster and then clear coated to help prevent premature re oxidation. This fan has had the works. It was completely taken apart stripped to bare metal followed by a coat of automotive primer. A high quality top coat of custom “deep dark navy Kandy blue” automotive paint was then applied with hardener to maintain the deep glass like gloss finish for many years to come. Just wipe it clean occasionally with a soft polish cloth. Motor windings have had a new old style head wire installed from the motor to the base along with new wire grommets in the base and motor also as were like the original. New old style gold twisted power cord with a new old style vintage plug accents the dark blue finish perfectly. Last but not least a nice black felt base cover to protect the surface of anything you might set the fan on. No expenses spared on this restoration. Would be the center piece in any room it was placed in. A ton of hours went into this fan to achieve this kind of result. I think I have covered it all. This fan is smooth as glass. The deep dark navy blue paint looks just stunning against the brass. There are sun spot reflections on the super gloss finish that make it look all chipped up in spots but believe me it’s not all chipped up LOL. Here’s a beautiful like out of the crate new restored Emerson model 29646 brass blade 3 speed oscillating fan. Parker bass blades measure a total span of 12 across tip to tip. Fan stands about 17 tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the cage ring. Head can be tipped up or down to aim the airflow. Oscillation can be adjusted from a stand still to full oscillation back and forth or anywhere in the middle simply by turning the knurled oscillator knob on the bottom of the gear box. Gear box was cleaned of all old grease and a high quality bearing grease added for superb lubrication of the gear train. Motor tag was removed and refinished to look like factory new. All brass polished to a high luster and then clear coated to help prevent premature re oxidation. This fan has had the works. It was completely taken apart stripped to bare metal followed by a coat of automotive primer. A high quality top coat of “Diamond black” Automotive paint was then applied with hardener to maintain the deep glass like gloss finish for many years to come. Just wipe it clean occasionaly with a soft polish cloth. Motor windings have had a new old style head wire installed from the motor to the base along with new screw in wire grommets in the base also as were like the original Emerson grommets. New old style gold twisted power cord with a new old style vintage plug. Last but not least a nice green felt base cover to protect the surface of anything you might set the fan on. Tried to get the best pictures I could but started raining so had to take a couple indoor pictures. Also take note what looks like a mark between the numbers 2 and 3 on the base is just a shiny reflection from the indoor lighting. There is NO mark in that area. No expenses spared on this restoration. Would be the center piece in any room it was placed in. A ton of hours went into this fan to achieve this kind of result. I think I have covered it all. I have restored these fans for many, many years with tons of satisfied customers. Blades re attach with a screw on left hand thread. Thanks and good luck. Antique 12 3-Blade GE General Electric Fan (REFURBISHED & Working). Professionally refurbished rewired & painted & new felt base cover & cleaned & oil/greased mechanics, etc. By the Fan Man in Dallas, TX who has been in the business for 40+ years. 12 Diameter 3-Blade with a 13.5 Cage & stands 17 Tall. The unit is very heavy 15 lbs. For the last 15 years or so, has not been used, just decoration purposes and stored. Very good condition No scratched, etc. The unit has 3 speeds and runs excellent and has a beautiful purring sound, one that is very peaceful. The fan is an oscillating model and used to move back and forth, now it is only going to the right and not moving back to the left & dont know if it needs another slight adjustment or the like or that I just dont know how to make it do the oscillating. The plastic cap at the middle of the fan blade has a slight chunk missing (as show in photos); however, the piece is secure and functions as normal.
