Fresh from an estate is a very desirable antique electric fan manufactured by the Racine Electric Company of Racine, Wisconsin in the mid-late 1910s. The model type is 123 and and the number is 7163 A. The fan features the scarce “eagle” design motor tag and the “Racine” cage badge. The fan features 12 diameter steel blades, steel cage and struts, and steel base and motor housing. The fan has significant paint loss and oxidation throughout. The original cloth cord is fraying in several places. The switch is in good condition. The fan’s universal motor can operate on alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) and is a three speed model (high – medium – low). It runs well and smoothly on each distinct speed. Note: because of the universal motor, Racine fans are typically a bit noisy when operating. However, this fan is nice and quiet — please see the video to see it running! The fan’s height is 14.5″, width is 13″, and depth is 6.5. Rest assured the fan will be expertly packed. Everything will be securely wrapped with 2-3 layers of bubble-wrap, double-boxed, and very securely packed. Please see my feedback to learn how much clients appreciate the time and care I take in packing their items. Interested in antique electric fans? I have many more models listed!
