VINTAGE Antique 1920s Emerson Electric Fan Type Model 6250- D with Brass Blades and the Oscillating Works – NICE! In good condition but needs a cleaning – the magnet will stick to the cage but not the fan blades o. See photos for more detailed information. The tag on top of the fan states EMERSON THE EMERSON ELECTRIC MFG CO NEW YORK ST LOUIS TYPE 6250-D, 115 VOLTS CYCLES 60 No. The fan is also marked “EMERSON REG US PAT OFF” on the brass tag on the front of the cage. The fan measures app. 18 in overall height to the top of the cage, the cage itself measures app. 13 in diameter, the blades measure app. The brass blades have not been cleaned or polished in years and appear to retain an early coat of varnish or paint. The fan runs well on all three speed settings with a distinct difference of speeds and the oscillator works perfectly and smoothly. The cord covering is frayed where it enters the base but is otherwise quite nice. Also think if you plan on using the fan I would certainly think it should have a complete cleaning prior to use.
