Beautiful, heavy GE oscillator. This fan retains almost 95% of its original black laquer finish on the motor and base. The oscillator housing, for some reason, only retains about 60% of its finish. This seems to be one of the early models because the motor is secured with studs and brass acorn nuts rather than machine screws. The ring that the motor sits inside of has some faint white paint overspray here and there. The fan is ultra smooth and balanced at all three speeds. The original sticker is affixed to the bottom of the base over 100 years old! Also, the gold lettering above the 3 speed switch is retained completely. Oscillator engages and disingages as it should and operates flawlessly. Runs super smooth and distict on all three speeds! A very powerful and smooth 12 fan. The cord is original as well. Also, this fan after packing will weigh close to 40 lbs, the flat rate price quoted is not only quite reasonable but probably understated. The oscillator housing is guaranteed to be damage free.
